Can AI see and Understand comic books ?
AI have difficulty understanding what happens in between panels (gutters) According to Mohit Iyyer and his associates from Cornell University https://arxiv.org/abs/1611.05118
The main reason why AI’s have difficulty is because they need to be “better at leveraging context” in other words understand commonsense knowledge.
